Spring Onion Sabji


Ingredients
Spring onion – 1 bunch
Besan flour – 1 tsp
Sugar – ¼ tsp
Salt and red chilli powder as per taste
Coriander leaves – 1 tbl.sp
Fresh coconut grated – 1 tsp
Hing – ¼ tsp
Mustard seed – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

Method
Wash and Chop spring onion leaves finely along with onion .
Heat 2 tbl.spoon of oil in a pan and add hing, mustard seed and turmeric powder. Add spring onion leaves and onion and sauté for a minute. Then leave it to cook on a slow flame without adding water. When cooked, add salt, sugar and red chilli powder. Then add 1 tsp of besan flour and keep on stirring it continuously, so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom and burn.
Using this method, you can also make sabji from radish leaves, tender cauliflower leaves and even coriander leaves.
