Chicken Tikka with Mayo Sandwich




Ingredients
few slices of bread

for making chicken tikka
boneless chicken - 1/2 kg
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
corriander powder - 1 tsp
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
juice of half lemon
yoghurt - 3 tbl.sp
tandoori masala - 1 tsp
food color - 1/2 tsp (optional)
salt as per taste

For making mayonnaise spread
mayonnaise - 2 tbl.sp
one small onion chopped
few mint leaves
a pinch of salt

Method
Make mayonnaise spread by adding all the ingredients given.

slice the chicken given and marinate the chicken using all the ingredients given. Leave it for 3 to 4 hours and then deep fry in oil and shred it.

Toast the bread slices using ghee or butter and keep aside. Spread mayonaisse on it and shredded chicken. Cover it with another slice of bread. Cut into half and serve.

Chicken Tikka

Ingredients

Chicken pieces – 500 gm
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbl.sp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Garam masla – ½  tsp
Red chilli powder and salt as per taste
Yoghurt – 2 tbl.sp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Mustard oil – 2 tsp
Food color - optional
Few coriander leaves
Chaat masala
Onion rings

Method

Wash the chicken pieces and marinate it with all the ingredients given except chaat masala and leave it for marination for about 2 to 3 hours.


Take skewer, skew all the chicken pieces and bake in the oven or tandoor at 250 to 300 degree till all the chicken pieces are cooked. Garnish with onion rings and coriander leaves and sprinkle chaat masala on top of it.

Chicken Tikka

 Ingredients
Boneless chicken – 500 gm
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbl.sp
Yoghurt – ¼ cup
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Lemon juice – ½ tsp
Orange food colour – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
Salt as per taste
chaat masala

Method
Wash the chicken and remove all the fat from it.
Combine all the given ingredients and add it to the chicken and mix well.
Leave it to marinate for an hour or overnight.
Heat oven at 200 degree celcius and cook for 35 to 40 minutes.
Sprinkle little chaat masala powder on it and serve hot with onion rings and lemon slices.
