Kashmiri Pulao

Ingredients
Basmati rice – 500 gm
Cloves – 4
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Cardamom – 3
Cumin seeds – ½  tsp
Bay leaf – 2
Milk – 2 cups
Cream – ½ cup
Chopped fruits – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 tsp
Ghee – 2 tsp
Rose water
Salt to taste

Method
Wash rice and soak in water for ten to fifteen minutes. Heat ghee or butter in a pan, add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf, cumin seeds, fry for half second, then add soaked rice and fry for two minutes. Add to it cream, milk, sugar and salt and half cup of water. Bring to boil. Cover the lid and simmer till cooked. In the end, add chopped mixed fruit and sprinkle few drops of rose water before serving.
