Hyderabadi Chicken

Ingredients
Chicken – 1 kg
Onion – 125 gm
Ginger – 50 gm
Garlic – 8 to 10 flakes
Yoghurt - 250 gm
Grated coconut – 2 tbl.sp
Papaya – 100 gm
Lemon – 1
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
Salt  and chilli as per taste.

Method
Make a paste of papaya and apply on the chicken and leave it for half an hour.  Slice onions and fry in oil till golden brown. Add chicken to it and cook on a low flame. Grind grated coconut with water to a fine paste.
Add ginger, garlic paste, turmeric powder, garam  masala powder, salt and chilli.
Mix it well and then add yoghurt to it and cook till it becomes thick. In the end add coconut and lemon juice to it.
