Irani Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken – 1 kg
Ghee or butter – 250 gm
Yoghurt – 250 gm
Black pepper – 10 gm
Cream – 125 gm
Onion – 125 gm
Ginger – 50 gm
Garlic – 6 cloves
Almonds – 100 gm
Small cardamom – 10 gm
Lemon – 2
Pinch of kesar and kewra and salt as per requirement.

Method
Wash and clean chicken and cut into medium pieces. Fry half of the cut onions in ghee and then add chicken pieces to it. Paste of ginger, yoghurt and cream should be put on the chicken, rest all ingredients cut and add to it and cook on a low flame without adding water. Cook for an hour.
Remove from fire and then add kesar and kewra and small cardamom, to it. Add lemon juice to it and keep it covered for 15 minutes.
