Mughlai Chicken

Ingredients
Chicken – ½ kg
Green chilli – 6
Tomato – 4
Onion -2
Red chilli powder – 1 tbl.sp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Garlic – 10 flakes
Ginger – 2 inch piece
Oil or ghee – 250 gm
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
Salt as per taste

Method
Slice onions into thin pieces, fry in oil till golden brown and crisp. Remove from fire and keep aside. Chop tomatoes and keep aside, ginger and garlic chop into small pieces and cut green chillies into half. Clean and wash chicken and add salt to it.
Heat ghee or oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic pieces. When they are fried, add chicken pieces and fry well in oil. Then add garam masala, salt and red chilli and mix well and let it cook on a low flame. Keep on stirring in between. Then add chopped tomatoes, mix well and cook till oil separates from gravy. Now add fried onions, green chilli and coriander leaves and remove from fire and serve hot.
