Veg Shami Kabab

Ingredients
Black gram/chana – 100 gms
Garlic – 4 to 5 flakes crushed
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbl.sp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Besan/chickpeas flour – 2 tbl.sp
Yoghurt – 2 tbl.sp
Onion – 1
Coriander leaves
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste

Method
Soak chana in water for 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
Blend it coarsely in a blender and mix all the other ingredients and make small flat tikkis.

Shallow fry in oil till golden brown in color. Remove and sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve hot with chutney.
