Manglorean Chicken

Ingredients
Chicken – 500 gm
Red chillies roasted – 4
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Green chilli – 1
Garlic flakes – 4
Ginger – ½ inch
Cinnamon – ½ inch
Cloves – 2
Cardamom – 1
Onion – 1
Roasted black pepper corns – ½ tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Corrainder seeds – ½ tbs.sp
Tamarind paste – ½ tbl.sp
Onion – 1
Turmeric – 1 pinch
Fenugreek seeds – 1 pinch
Ghee or butter – 1 tbl.sp
Salt as per taste
Corrainder leaves – ½ cup

Method
Cut half onion, green chilli, grated coconut, ginger, garlic, red chillies, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, tamarind paste, corraiadner seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, put all these ingredients in a blender and make a fine paste.
Chop the remaining onion. Take a deep frying pan, add ghee or butter to it, when heated add fenugreek seeds and then chopped onions and sauté till golden brown. Now add the paste and fry till oil separates from the mixture and an aroma begins to rise. Now add chicken pieces to it and pour water as per thickness desired. Add salt to it and let it boil. Cover, simmer and cook for half an hour or till the chicken is tender. Remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves and serve with Naan or rice.
