Apple Halwa

Ingredients
Apple – 3 to 4 big one
Sugar – 4 tbl.sp
Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Ghee/butter – 1 tbl.sp

Method
In a pan heat ghee/butter and add grated or chopped apple.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes till it becomes soft. Mash it.
Add one tbl.sp of water, mix well and cook on a low flame for 10 to 15 minutes till it becomes thick. Keep on stirring or else it will burn.
Add sugar, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence, mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add chopped nuts, mix well and remove from fire.
Remove on a plate, spread evenly, it should be 1 inch thick squares when cut.
Decorate with chopped nuts and serve warm or cold.
Cinnamon powder and vanilla essence should be added more or less as per your taste.
